everybody figured oh, well this will be my turn. jeb bush,. >> kristina: ti, ted cruz, lindsey graham, bobby jindal, rand paul, rick perry, marco rubio, rick santorum, donald trump, scott walker and more thought 2016 would be their year. scott hoffman says all of the candidates just muttleed the field for voters. >> when you have so many people you just hear i believe this and that without policy discussion and you end up having debate winners by who throughout the best snipeing lane. >> reporter: back in april of last year scott walker was in the lead with south carolina voters and jeb bush right behind him. that's a different outlook from

march 1st is a huge day in the race. 11 states are voteing. donald trump would be going in as the clear front runner. >> reporter: so now we're down to six with bush, rubio, cruz, carson, kasich and, of course, trump, the front runner and looking to take over the primary. we'll just have to see as the polls open up in the morning as you said, j.r.. this is going to bebea busy day for republicans. laurur thomas, news 19, wltx. >> tonight a lot of attention has been put on south carolina status as the first in the south and it's with good reason. since its inception in 1980, south carolina has a pretty good track record of pick the eventual nominee.

muck by, mack cane won with 33% here before win the nomination n.2012 the state picked gingrich with 40% but romney got the nomination. south carolina has 50 republican delegates up for grabs tomorrow. you can see, follow the iowa caucus and new hampshire primary, trump is first with 17, cruz and rubio are in the double digits 11 and 10 respectively. everybody else is following, rson with 3. it takes 37 nomination. one poll has trump up double digits, one with cruz within five points, another showing

of donald trump. the survey has trump 27, rubio 24, cruz, carson and bush then carson with 7%. despite all of the polls anumber of voters are still undecided to night. sonya gutierrez has that part of the story. >> it's a small time, small time atmosphere. are over 200 registered voters here and they say rural areas matter. >> >>: economy, the growth here to bring business back in again. family business. agree.'m undecided. if the president came here and says i want to put funds here, we need that.

in the great lakes region and produced wind gusts to about 60 miles per hour today not a lot of precipitation around the country right now and temperatures have been warm to the west today. 77 degrees in st. louis, san antonio 80 degrees and warm erections tended northward up into the northern plains. the cold weather was here along the eastern sea board. we've cleared out, 47 in sumter, 49 in orangeburg, 51 here in columbia. our computer model show the clouds coming in around daybreak tomorrow. we'll be under mostly cloudy skies tomorrow. we're not expecting rain. on sunday more clouds come in and we might see a slight chance for some rain. the rain coming into the upstate on sunday will be fade having i'm not sure if it'll make it here on not.

cloudy skies into the be gingrich of the week and we'll see rain. no rain projected on monday but other models are projecting some rain. here is the forecast tonight lof 41 in newberry, camden 43, columbia, highs tomorrow about 65 in newberry, 69 for clump ymaybe 72 degrees in st. mattheus. seven day forecast mostly cloudy, high of 73 on sunday. then the rain begins to increase on monday with a high of 65. our best chance for rain is tuesday and wednesday and it'll be turning cooler, 56 tuesday, 55 on wednesday. getting back to partly cloudy skies on thursday with a high of 57 and sunny next friday with a high temperature of # 8.
